Proficiencies
AWARDS FOR EACH AGE GROUP
Children must obtain the Award for their age group, which covers swimming ability, knowledge of first aid, resuscitation, surf awareness and surf safety, so that by the age of 13 they are qualified to be a patrolling member.
They are also eligible to become a Bronze Medallion holder at the age of 15.
Children will be trained and taught by qualified instructors.
